Situated above the Altea new town, the old town of Altea is a jumbled network of pebbled roads with real charm. Wandering around the visitor will find numerous restaurants and a fine choice of cafés.

Altea's beautiful old church is a wonderful example of the region's impressive architecture and is a symbolic image of the Costa Blanca.

This peaceful and tranquil town is home to many artists and craftsmen and of course their galleries. The breathtaking view over to Benidorm is sure to have inspired many a painting over the years.
